Brazil in Dialogue with Portuguese-Speaking Communities

The Brazil in dialogue with Portuguese-speaking Communities working group encourages interdisciplinary conversations among graduate students and scholars examining the controversies around Lusophony, a term associated with Portuguese colonialism. The group addresses issues of race, gender, and class in the context of transoceanic studies and postcolonialism. It also fosters research on literature, film & media, theater, performance, and other artistic expressions in dialogue with the social sciences.
