Betsy Frederick-Rothwell is curator and head archivist at the Environmental Design Archives in the College of Environmental Design. She is at work on a project examining the historical transition from moderately-tempered to fully-controlled indoor environments between 1930 and 1950 in the built world as well as in professional and popular discourses.
