Ellen Oliensis is a literary critic with interests in formalism, gender studies, psychoanalysis, and translation. While she works on earlier and later periods as well, most of her scholarship revolves around late Republican and early Imperial Latin poetry. Her current research centers on Ovid's Metamorphoses.
