Fumi Okiji works at the intersection of black study, critical theory, and sound and music studies, drawing on Yoruba thought and the practices of black creative music to think about earthly happiness, contemplation, and collective life. She is currently developing a serial essay on dwelling, passing, and the politics of going-under.
