Der Kreis is an interdisciplinary working group for graduate students and scholars whose research incorporates new perspectives, methodologies, and theoretical approaches toward German history. We welcome students from all disciplines who engage with historical inquiries into the understanding of Germany, particularly those moving beyond the confines of the nation-state framework. This is a space where works in progress are meant to be enriched through peer discussion.
