The Townsend Center extends congratulations to Dean of Arts & Humanities and former Townsend Center Director Anthony Cascardi, who is the recipient of the 2013  Phyllis Goodhart Gordan Book Prize! The Renaissance Society of America (RSA) selected Dean Cascardi's book, Cervantes, LIterature, and the Discourse of Politics, after reviewing over 90 nominations this year. The award was announced at the RSA conference in San Diego on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at RSA's annual awards ceremony.
