Geballe Room, 220 Stephens Hall

The Human Rights Seminar invites distinguished scholars across disciplines to present their recent research. Hosting several lectures and a book roundtable each semester, the seminar brings these scholars into conversation with the Berkeley community. The theme for the 2013-14 seminar lectures is “Visual Culture and Human Rights.”

This roundtable features Emilie Hafner-Burton discussing her book Making Human Rights a Reality (Princeton, 2013) in conversation with UC Berkeley and Stanford faculty members.

Presented by the Human Rights Program and The Townsend Center for the Humanities.
