BAMPFA

Equal parts organizer, curator, and digital media sensation, Kimberly Drew, otherwise known to her Internet fans as @museummammy, dubs herself a “#carefulblackgirl selling the shadow and supporting the substance.” Drew is currently social media manager for The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She received A.I.R. Gallery’s inaugural Feminist Curator Award and was named to both the YBCA 100 by Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and the Brooklyn 100 by Brooklyn Magazine.

Arts + Design Mondays @ BAMPFA are free and open to the public. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Information on the full series is available here.

Sponsored by UC Berkeley’s Arts + Design Initiative, this event is cosponsored by the Townsend Center for the Humanities.
