Student Apprentice(s)
Anna Currey
Karuk is a severely endangered language of northern California, spoken by only a handful of elderly first-language speakers. Anna Currey, the student apprentice for the project, assisted in the preparation of a short practical grammatical overview of the Karuk language, aimed at language teachers and learners in the Karuk community. Additionally, Currey collaborated on new documentary fieldwork as well as the preparation of online resources for the language community.
