The Berkeley Latin American & Caribbean History working group (BLACH) has provided a platform for the workshopping and diffusion of Latin American and Caribbean scholarship and the professionalization of graduate students for the last seventeen years. By bringing together scholars from across disciplines and providing an effective platform for graduate students and faculty to network and collaborate, BLACH provides a constructive and welcoming environment for the development of cutting-edge research in the field.
