The Queer European Studies working group discusses recent literature, film, visual media, and theory to explore the aesthetic and political strategies at play in articulating queerness in Europe. Our inquiry rests on scholarship that considers Europe and queerness with, through, and against racialization and experiences of migration, diaspora and exile.

Queer European Studies culminates in a symposium with a keynote speaker at the end of the academic year.
