For a quarter of a century, the Russian History "Kruzhok" (circle) has served the Berkeley faculty and several generations of graduate students. Over the years, the working group has benefited graduate students in all stages and in countless ways: in addition to meeting key figures in their fields, students have received feedback on dissertation chapters, held mock job interviews, discussed fellowship proposals, and practiced their first conference presentations.
