Johan Klingborg studies Scandinavian literature from the 19th to the 21st centuries, with particular focus on its intersections with media technologies and infrastructures. His current book project examines how the temporal dynamics of labor under modern rationalization — from the assembly line to digital tracking systems and generative AI — have shaped 20th- and 21st-century reading practices.
