The African History working group aims to create an intellectual community among students and faculty who conduct research on some aspect of the African past. This working group is essential in helping us develop a more competitive graduate program in African history, and in improving the work of those already at UC Berkeley. The group provides a forum for circulating work in progress, including graduate student proposals, dissertation chapters, and article drafts.
