Central American Studies

Group Coordinators

The Central American Studies working group aims to advance the body of Central American scholarship through a flexible and multidisciplinary approach. We seek to deepen our understanding of Central American issues, history, culture, migration, and politics from an open and collaborative perspective. Ultimately, we believe that a multidisciplinary understanding of Central America can highlight pathways that improve social, political, and economic conditions, including empowering members of its diaspora, which is heavily concentrated in the United States.
