The Klub Kul'tury working group introduces graduate students from a variety of disciplines to the latest conversations taking place in post-socialist spaces, with a focus on the study and critique of militarization and the authoritarian turn. The group aims to rethink post-socialist countries not only as places where one goes to conduct fieldwork, but also as sources of robust theorizations that may have analytical purchase beyond the former Soviet bloc.
