Scholars across the humanities, sciences, and social sciences make, feature, and study photographs in their research and publications. Why? The Photography working group attempts to answer this question, exploring the interdisciplinary uses and multivalent impacts of images in academic work. Through readings, discussion, field trips, and guest speakers, we aim to bridge academic dialogues by exploring the image and its wide-ranging role in intellectual pursuits.
