Process Philosophy
Group Coordinators
Most closely associated with the work of Alfred North Whitehead, process philosophy has been taken to name the tradition of thought running from William James, Charles Sanders Peirce, and Susanne Langer in the United States to Henri Bergson, Raymond Ruyer, Gilbert Simondon, and Gilles Deleuze in France. Through collective readings, the Process Philosophy working group examines the many trajectories and affordances of this body of thinking, from the humanities to natural science, religion, technology, ecology, and politics.
